AVONDALE, Ariz. - Begin your new year with self-improvement. Registration for spring 2002 courses is underway at Estrella Mountain Community College. Credit and non-credit courses are available in a wide variety of subjects, including business management, web page design, administration of justice and ballroom dancing. Day, evening and weekend courses are offered to meet even the most demanding schedules.
New programs include desktop publishing, programming and system analysis, certified nursing assistant (CNA) and licensed practical nurse (LPN).
Individuals interested in earning a degree, improving skills for work or taking classes for pure enjoyment may register by phone at 623-935-8888, on-line at www.emc.maricopa.edu, or in person at the Registration Office in Komatke Hall, 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Special registration hours are available Saturday, January 5 and January 12 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m..
