Registration for Fall Classes Now Underway at Estrella Mountain

Avondale, Ariz. - With the upcoming fall semester quickly approaching, the time to make decisions regarding career and future is now. Interested individuals may begin by registering for classes at Estrella Mountain Community College. Registration is underway and will continue through Friday, August 30.

The Administration of Justice program premiers this semester, along with new courses in sculpture, computer and information technology, and early childhood education.

Those interested in earning a degree or certificate, improving skills for work or taking classes for pure enjoyment may register by phone at 623-935-8887, on-line at www.estrellamountain.edu, or in person at the Registration Office in Komatke Hall, 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Special registration hours are available Saturday, August 17 and August 24 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

In addition, the SouthWest Skill Center at Estrella Mountain (SWSC) has offerings in business technology, C-Tech (network cabling), medical assisting, medical terminology and transcription, nursing assisting and practical nursing.
