AVONDALE, Ariz. - Spring registration at Estrella Mountain Community College is currently underway for classes beginning January 18, 2003. Credit and non-credit courses are available in a wide variety of subjects, including business management, web page design, administration of justice and ballroom dancing. Day, evening and weekend courses are offered to meet a variety of schedules.
New courses include American Regional Cuisine (part of the soon-to-be-introduced Culinary Arts program).
Individuals interested in earning a degree, improving skills for work or taking classes for pure enjoyment may register by phone at 623-935-8887, online at www.estrellamountain.edu, or in person at the Registration Office in Komatke Hall, 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Special registration hours are available Saturday, January 11 and January 18 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Free academic advisement, career counseling, veteran's and financial aid services are also available.
