Avondale, AZ - Maria Reyes, Director of Estrella Mountain's NASA Center for Success in Math and Science, has been selected to participate in the 2003 National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI).
The program prepares select Hispanic women who have demonstrated leadership at the local level for positions of national influence and public policy impact. According to NHLI President Marisa Rivera-Albert, Reyes was selected because of her extensive community service record, the commitment she has demonstrated to the Hispanic community and the tremendous potential she has to lead the community forward.
