Registration for Summer 2003 Classes Now Underway at Estrella Mountain

AVONDALE, Ariz. - As summer approaches, so does the time to make decisions regarding career and future. Get a head start by registering for summer classes at Estrella Mountain Community College. Registration for summer courses is currently underway and will continue through Thursday, May 29. The first five-week and an eight-week session begin July 2. A second five-week session begins August 7.

A wide variety of courses are available in different areas including Administration of Justice, Cisco Networking Technology, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer-Windows 2000 Track and general studies.

Those interested in earning a degree or certificate, improving skills for work, taking classes to get ahead or for pure enjoyment may register by phone at 623-935-8887, online at www.estrellamountain.edu, or in person at the Registration Office in Komatke Hall, 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Starting May 19, registration hours will be Monday - Wednesday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.; closed on Fridays.

In addition, the SouthWest Skill Center at Estrella Mountain (SWSC) has offerings in business technology, C-Tech (network cabling), medical assisting, medical terminology and transcription, nursing assistant and practical nurse.
