Estrella Mountain Culinary and Hotel/Restaurant Management Programs Open for Enrollment

Estrella Mountain's Culinary Studies and Hotel/Restaurant Management programs are open for enrollment for the Spring 2004 semester.

Culinary Studies, led by former White House(Reagan administration) executive chef, Jon Hill, offers three distinct training options: a basic certificate (16 credits), certificate of completion (33 credits) and an associate of applied science degree (64-66 credits). Students learn the basics of kitchen operations, culinary techniques, menu design, table service and more. The program prepares students for entry-level through advanced-level careers and provides hands-on experience through its campus-based, Regions Restaurant.

The Hotel/Restaurant Management program is a natural complement to Culinary Studies on the business side and is useful for those interested in hotel or restaurant management or those with aspirations of owning their own hospitality-related business. Like Culinary Studies, the program offers certificate and degree options and also provides training for entry through advanced-level careers.
