Eearly Registration Begins for Spring 2006 at Estrella Mountain

October 10, 2005 - Estrella Mountain Community College opens early registration today for the Spring 2006 semester beginning January 14, 2006, giving students a head start on selecting the class of their choice and avoiding long lines at peak registration time in early January. Prospective and continuing students can view a full listing of course offerings for the spring semester online at www.estrellamountain.edu/sch .Along with a full range of academic course offerings designed to satisfy university requirements, the college also offers a variety of liberal and fine arts and expanded math and science classes such as creative writing, journalism, dance, engineering, geology, and microbiology. The semester's language courses include Spanish, French, Sign Language and, for the first time in the college's history, Japanese. The college also specializes in a variety of occupational specific courses such as Culinary Arts and Administration of Justice, and continues to be the only site in the state of Arizona for Red Hat Linux certification.
