Estrella Mountain supports the Spanish speaking and other non-English communities with increased English as a Second Language course offerings that enhance language skills at a foundational level, and even fulfill university requirements. The college currently has openings for:-ESL 040 ESL Grammar (Section number 1259) -ESL 041 ESL Listening and Speaking (Section number 5289) -ESL 051 Pronunciation Improvement for ESL Speaker (Section 1229)- ESL 032 ESL Writing with Oral Practice (Section 1225)- RDG 008 Phonics (Section 5315) Additionally, students looking to complete their degree and transfer on to a university can take advantage of openings in ENG 108: First Year Composition for ESL (Section number 1695), the equivalency of standard college requirement English 102.
