Black Panthers Co-Founder Bobby Seale to Speak at Estrella Mountain Community College

February 7, 2007 - Estrella Mountain, a Maricopa Community College, will host its annual career fair on Thursday, March 8, 2007, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at its Avondale campus, located at 3000 North Dysart Road, on the northwest corner of Thomas and Dysart Roads. The fair will feature more than 100 valley businesses, agencies and schools with information about immediate employment, as well as demystifying long term career options. The event, which is free and open to the public, will also provide students and community members with an opportunity to learn more about financing their education, including scholarships, financial aid, and ways to overcome other impediments to earning a degree and securing future career opportunities. Although not required for participation, job seekers may benefit from bringing a current resume as some employers may conduct on-site interviews.
