Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) has announced the hire of Laura Dulgar as director, college recruitment and outreach. Dulgar comes to Estrella Mountain from Reno, Nevada, where she worked at Truckee Meadows Community College as director of student outreach and testing. In her new role, she will be responsible for early outreach, recruitment and retention programming.
Dulgar has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling and College Student Development.Her education and 20 years of experience in student affairs will bring a great deal of knowledge and new ideas to the student affairs division at Estrella Mountain Community College."I am excited to be a part of the college and the Maricopa Community College District," she said. "I look forward to supporting my fellow team members and working collaboratively with the West Valley community."
