"Discover Your Road to Success," EMCC Hosts Career Fair October 14

Avondale, Arizona - October 1, 2008 - Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC), a Maricopa Community College, will host a career fair on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and scholarship information session at 1:00 p.m. at its Avondale campus, located at 3000 North Dysart Road, on the northwest corner of Thomas and Dysart Roads. The event, which is free and open to the public, is in a different format this year. Rather than holding one annual career fair, several career fairs will be held at the college to cover a variety of academic disciplines and occupational opportunities in those areas. The October 14 career fair will focus on public safety and education professions and will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Komatke Courtyard. Although not required for participation, job seekers may benefit from bringing a current resume as some employers may conduct on-site interviews.
