Estrella Mountain Community College will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month during the months of September and October with a variety of activities for students, faculty, staff, and community members. This year’s theme: “Celebrando La Mujer De Ayer, Hoy y Mañana” (“Celebrating Women of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”) was chosen to highlight the contributions of Hispanic women to both the Hispanic and American cultures and the society we live in today. The college is located at 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale.
