EMCC Hires Seven New Faculty Members

Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC), a Maricopa Community College, has hired seven new faculty members in the areas of administration of justice, art, clinical nursing, English, physics, psychology, and reading.  These faculty members will begin teaching in the fall and will continue to support the college’s growth and focus on student learning and success.

“Many institutions of higher education are focused on only teaching, but Estrella Mountain Community College is focused on teaching, learning and caring; and to that end, every decision that is made should improve learning for all,” said Dr. Bryan Tippett, EMCC vice president of academic affairs.  “No decision is more important than choosing the best people to help improve student learning…the faculty.  This year, as in years past, Estrella Mountain is extremely fortunate to have hired seven exceptional new faculty members who will help prepare West Valley students for success in the liberal arts and/or the workforce.”
