Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC), a Maricopa Community College, will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month during the months of September and October with a variety of activities for students, faculty, staff, and community members. This year’s theme focuses on Latinos in Athletics, coinciding with the college’s inaugural athletics programs beginning this fall. The college is located at 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. All events are free and open to the public.
