Estrella Mountain Community College Adjunct Fitness Instructor, Joe Micela, has been chosen by USA Weightlifting to represent the United States as the official team leader for the 2010 World Championships, to be held September 13-30, 2010 in Antalya, Turkey. As team leader, Micela will be in charge of overseeing the men’s and women’s weightlifting teams, all U.S. Officials, and the entire U.S. Delegation. Micela has taught strength and conditioning courses at EMCC since 2009.
