Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) continues the tradition of offering non-credit, self-growth classes that are affordable, fast, and fun for all ages. It’s called Community Education, and the classes are all about capturing moments of learning for self-improvement. In today’s lexicon, you could almost call them “selfie” classes.
The spring 2014 schedule of Community Education classes is out and available for enrollment. Adult and teen learners can choose from photography, art, music, culinary, computers, health and wellness, yoga, interior design, languages, job training, retirement planning, even Mah Jong and much more. Classes are offered February through June, and start as low as $29.
Included in the Community Education schedule of classes is EMCC’s very popular and summer favorite for kids and parents, “Kids College.” If you’re a parent, you know you have to start researching and planning now for those summer learning opportunities. Classes for kids ages 4-16 start in June, and registration starts in March.
