Estrella Mountain Community College has selected both the West Valley Child Crisis Center and Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults (APECA) as its dedicated charities of choice during its 2006 United Way fundraising campaign. The college, which has historically raised more than $60,000 for both Valley and national agencies, will dedicate funds raised through campaign events, such as its annual golf tournament, Oktoberfest, and other activities, to these worthwhile causes.
