Estrella Mountain Community College will host "Teacher Education 101" on Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Estrella Hall Community Room. Students and community members are encouraged to attend to meet faculty and staff from Estrella Mountain Community College and university partners including ASU West, NAU, Ottawa University, Grand Canyon University, and University of Phoenix. Students will learn about the different associate degree pathways in education, university transfer options, bachelor degree pathways, financial aid information, and how to find the support you need to graduate. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the education field. Students will be able to learn more about educational options and determine which school and program best fits their needs.
