Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC), a Maricopa Community College, will celebrate Women’s History Month during the month of March. There will be a variety of events and activities held on campus presented to call attention to women’s issues and how we all can be a catalyst for change in the way women are represented in media and how they continue be victimized in the United States and around the world. Events will also empower students to be engaged in social issues, higher education and their own futures. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. The college is located at 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale.
