Estrella Mountain Community College’s SouthWest Skill Center has partnered with the Maryvale Family YMCA to offer programs offsite to the Maryvale community. The summer partnership will feature the Spanish Medical Interpreter program, a program targeted towards bilingual individuals who are interested in interpreting in a healthcare environment. The program will launch on June 5th, 2010, and will last 12 weeks until August 14th. Classes will be held at the Maryvale Family YMCA, located at 3825 N. 67th Avenue.
