Estrella Mountain Community College’s Community Education Department is offering Kid's College, a variety of summer programs for children that will help them get ahead while gaining confidence and having fun.  Kid's College offers a wide range of classes costing between $49 and $154, with subjects including science, culinary arts, child care, music, art, Spanish, and more.

Radical Robotics is one of the science classes offered to students ages 6-12, in which the student can learn to build and take home a robotic hand. In Culinary Youth Camp, students ages 15-18 experience four days of working in a commercial kitchen learning to bake and make pastries. Child Care and Babysitting prepares students ages 10-16 to care for infants and children on a daily basis; or learn Spanish in Spanish Basics for Kids.

Classes will be held at Estrella Mountain Community College at 3000 N. Dysart Rd in Avondale and begin on June 1st.
