“Dodging Bullets” Theatre Performance on Domestic Violence; October 14

September 27, 2010

Award-winning actor, director, fight choreographer, and professor of theatre at Arizona State University, David Barker, will perform “Dodging Bullets,” a one-man play depicting the story of domestic violence in Barker’s own immediate family.  Barker’s sister was shot during an altercation at her home by her husband, a retired brain surgeon, who had been abusing her for years.  Barker was present for the attack and tells the story as it really happened.  The play will be staged in the college’s Community Room on Thursday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m.  For additional information, or to RSVP, contact Erin Blomstrand at 623-935-8332.
