Estrella Mountain Community College’s SouthWest Skill Center will celebrate the program completion of 148 students during its Completion Ceremony on Friday, October 22, 2010, in the college’s Ceremonial Plaza. The college is located at 3000 N. Dysart Road in Avondale. The festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. and all of the Skill Center’s completing students will be honored.
The SouthWest Skill Center provides short-term, hands-on training in allied health and distribution logistics that prepares students for current and future career opportunities, through the usage of state-of-the-art technology, and as taught by industry professionals.
