Estrella Mountain Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter (Beta Alpha Xi) has seen astounding growth in membership for Fall 2010 with 164 new members accepting membership through a new online system. That represents a 180% increase in honor society membership over just last spring.
So many new members have joined that the Chapter will hold two separate New Member Induction Ceremonies on November 19, 2010. Students with last names A-L will be inducted from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.; and students with last names M-Z will be inducted from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Ceremonies will take place in the Community Rooms of Estrella Hall.
