Three faculty members honored with National Institute for Staff and Organization (NISOD) Excellence Awards. EMCC faculty members receiving the awards are Rebecca Baranowski, division chair, Mathematics, Physics and Engineering; Natalie Rivera, mathematics faculty; and Chris Zagar, information resources faculty. Each was nominated by peers at the College for Excellence in Teaching and Leadership. The trio will be recognized nationally at the NISOD’s upcoming International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence, to be held May 19 - June 1, 2011 at the University of Texas at Austin.
