New Student Services staff for Buckeye Educational Center

Gina Sandoval and Christina Pastrano have been selected to head up the new Buckeye Educational Center (BEC) Student Services office.

Gina Sandoval was selected as the Manager of Student Services.  Sandoval brings 20 years of Maricopa Community College experience, as well as her knowledge and background of student services, work with faculty and experience with our campus programs to the BEC.

Sandoval's educational background includes an Associate of Arts from Rio Salado College, Bachelor of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies from Governors State University and M.B.A. in Business Administration/HR from Bellevue University.

Christina Pastrano was selected as the Student Services Specialist.  Pastrano has been working in the Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) Financial Aid office for the last few years.  She has completed the Student Services Institute and has worked with VA Benefits during her time in Financial Aid. 

Pastrano's educational background includes an Associate of Arts from Estrella Mountain Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University.

The Buckeye Educational Center is a partnership between EMCC and the Town of Buckeye to provide convenient access to quality post-secondary educational services for college courses and career development to the community.
