AVONDALE, Arizona - Fall 2012 semester officially starts on Saturday, August 18, but most students will be coming to campus on Monday, August 20. At current count, Estrella Mountain Community College will welcome more than 8,000 students on the Avondale campus, and nearly 420 students at the Buckeye campus, located in downtown Buckeye, Arizona.
Late registration has been eliminated at all Maricopa Community Colleges, so students will not be permitted to enroll in a class once it has started.
Welcome Week, a tradition at EMCC, offers daily activities to engage students and provide information about campus organizations, facilities, and student services.

Thursday, Aug. 23 - Student Union Grand Opening -- Donuts & Coffee 8-9am, Ice Cream Social 11am-1pm & 5-7pm
Friday, Aug. 24 - Video Game Tournament -- Student Union 10am-2pm
