Student Honors Expo winners announced

The 7th Annual Honors Expo was held on November 29, 2012 on the EMCC campus. More than 600 students attended to support and view the 36 Honors Projects consisting of research posters and presentations, and spanning  a multitude of disciplines including psychology, sociology, English, speech language pathology, biology, humanities, economics, computer technology, and adminstration of justice.

EMCC Honors Program Director and English faculty Alexander Andrews complimented the campus community for the "amazing" interest and participation, acknowledged the judging team of Randy Larson, Dr. Chris Coleman, Ernie Chavez, Dr. John Bradley, and Dr. Cheri Hebert, and congratulated the faculty who "sponsored" and helped the students prepare their presentations.

The top three winners received a tuition scholarship and will be invited to present their research at the Western Regional Honors Conference in April 2013.
