Student Conference 2013 bodes stellar research

Top-notch, stellar research opportunities are alive and well at the community college level. Students from all ten of the Maricopa Community Colleges were invited to participate at the 2013 Student Conference, hosted annually by EMCC. This year's theme was "Knowledge is Power."

There were approximately 70 proposals submitted from GateWay, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Estrella Mountain.  These submissions were narrowed down to 35.  Each winner received a scholarship made available through EMCC’s Title V grant.
