Not sure if college is right for you? Consider attending the Exploring Possibilities Education & Career Expo.

The Maricopa Community College District-sponsored Expo, set for Feb. 2 at the Phoenix Convention Center, will have information on more than 90 career and academic certificate and degree programs. More than 40 business partners and nonprofits will be in attendance to showcase job opportunities and community services that can support a student on their academic journey. Additionally, workshops will be presented throughout the day in both English and Spanish. The free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center’s South Ballroom (333 N. Third St). The event is open to the public; families, community groups, and all interested persons are welcome to attend!

Attendees will get the chance to experience hands-on career exploration through interactive activities; discover solutions to challenges preventing them from starting classes; meet faculty members; and connect with businesses to learn about possible career fields and potential job opportunities. They will also get to speak with admissions and financial aid experts.

The following workshops will be offered throughout the day:

  • Residency and Tuition

  • Earn College Credits while in High School

  • Exploring Careers at any Age

  • Why College is for You

  • How to Pay for College: Learn about Federal Financial Aid and How to Apply.
